About the Fragrance: Polo Earth Provencial Sage Eau de Toilette is a citrus, woody fragrance for men and women, crafted as an aromatic tribute to Provence's rich heritage and lush botanical gardens in the south of France, an area known as the birthplace of perfumery. Provencial Sage EDT features seven sustainably-sourced ingredients, including bergamot heart, green mandarin, vetiver heart, sage heart, lavandin heart, diva lavender, and bourbon geranium heart. Harvested by members of local communities, our sustainably sourced sage heart supports the region's economy and farmers' mission to improve and reduce their environmental impact.

Fragrance Description: Embrace Polo Earth Provencial Sage Eau de Toilette and harness the power of sage. The unisex perfume opens with top notes of fresh bergamot heart, green mandarin, petit grain oil, and neroli oil for a burst of bright, crisp citrus aroma. As the juicy notes settle, middle notes of sage heart, rosemary oil, basil oil, diva lavender, and lavandin heart emerge, creating a rich herbal bouquet. The slightly smoky quality of earthy vetiver heart blends seamlessly with base notes of warm bourbon geranium, while sandalwood oil lends a creamy smoothness to the finish.
This moderately concentrated EDT is the perfect addition to your spring and summer fragrance collections. The bright, crisp citrus and floral aromas pair beautifully with the sweet and creamy notes for a light fragrance that lingers from day to night.
About the Bottle: The Polo Earth fragrance bottles are consciously designed and responsibly packaged. Polo Earth Provencial Sage is housed in a lightweight bottle created from PCR (post-consumer recycled). The bottle features an FSC-certified wood cap and is accented with an FSC-certified paper label on the front. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council®, which signifies that the wood or paper product originated from a forest that was carefully managed to benefit the environment and local community.

97% natural-origin* fragranceSo What Do We Mean by “Naturally-Derived” or “Natural Origin”?
We consider an ingredient to be naturally derived (or natural origin) if it is unchanged from its natural state or has natural sources and has undergone processing, yet still retains greater than 50% of its molecular structure from natural plant or mineral sources.
Naturally derived (or natural origin) ingredients start with natural materials, but are then changed from their natural state; this means that naturally derived (or natural origin) ingredients can include synthetic ingredients that are made from materials found in nature.
An example is when we take a natural material, like jojoba oil, and process it to derive hydrogenated oil to ensure the stability of the ingredient and modify its texture. Because 50% of the molecular structure of the hydrogenated jojoba oil comes from plant or mineral sources, hydrogenated jojoba oil, although chemically processed, is a naturally-derived (or natural origin) ingredient. We then total up the percentage by weight of each ingredient to figure out the percentage that is naturally-derived (or natural origin), including water. For example, if 60% of a formula is water, and 36% of the formula are naturally-derived ingredients, we label it as 96% naturally-derived (or natural origin).
The remaining ingredients constitute the other 4% of the formula, and are there to ensure its sensoriality, efficacy and/or preservation.
